Three sides of me. ✨

Strong. Soft. Focused. Playful.

Side bending asks for more than flexibility — it asks for strength, balance, stability, breath and trust. And maybe that’s why I love it so much. There’s always more than one way to find your edge.

In these three moments, you can see a little of everything:
the relaxed face, the focused gaze, the big smile.

Different expressions. Different energy. Same body. Same practice.

A reminder that we don’t have to be just one version of ourselves. We can be strong and soft. Serious and playful. Grounded and free.

Find your balance. Bend. Breathe. And make space for all the sides of you. Thank you downward dog yoga for the photos!

Part 2

What I admire most is that she never tried to make Chris or me into someone we weren’t. She accepted us exactly as we were, supported our choices, and loved us unconditionally. I always knew that if I stumbled, she would be there to catch me. That gave me the confidence to take chances, chase dreams, and become who I am today.

Even now, she’s the first person I call. She always shows up. She listens without judgment, gives honest advice (whether I want to hear it or not!), and somehow always knows exactly what to say. I’ve learned from her how to care deeply for others, how to be compassionate, and how important it is to simply be there for the people you love.

One of the greatest gifts in my life is that somewhere along the way, my mom also became my best friend.

Mom, you truly light up every room you walk into. You make people feel seen, cared for, and loved. You’ve made such a difference in the lives of so many people, and I hope you know just how deeply you are loved in return.

I can’t wait to celebrate you this weekend and honour the incredible woman you are.

Happy 70th Birthday Susan Dominski Thank you for being my safe place, my biggest supporter, my role model, and my best friend. I love you more than words can say. 🤍

Part 1

Happy 70th Birthday to the woman who has shaped my life in more ways than I can ever put into words. ❤️

My mom grew up in Niagara-on-the-Lake as the oldest of six children. She lost her own mom far too young and had to become strong long before anyone should have to. That strength has carried her through every chapter of her life, but it has never taken away her kindness or compassion.

As a hospital “Pinky” in Niagara-on-the-Lake, she discovered her love of nursing and knew she wanted to spend her life caring for others. Helping people wasn’t just her career—it was who she was. She dedicated so many years to nursing in Niagara Falls while somehow giving everything she had to Chris and me at home.

She met my dad on a blind date, thanks to Aunt Tracy. A pizza date turned into a lifetime of love. Six months later they were engaged, and not long after, married. Watching the way they have loved each other every single day has set the standard for the kind of relationship I’ve always hoped to find. They taught me what love looks like—not just in words, but in the little things, every day.

Growing up, Mom was always there. She helped with school projects, quizzed me before tests, and even picked us up for lunch on her shift days just so she could spend a little extra time with us. She made childhood fun, creative, and full of love. Susan Dominski

Strength has never been just about the physical for me.

One of the reasons I love Lagree and my movement practice, is that it constantly asks me to stay present when things get uncomfortable. It teaches me to breathe through the shake, trust myself, and keep going even when my mind wants to quit.

I say this in class all the time because I’ve lived it. The resilience I’ve built on the machine and on the mat has carried into every challenge I’ve faced outside the studio. My physical practice has become so much more than a workout—it’s where I’ve learned patience, discipline, confidence, and the ability to move through hard moments instead of running from them.

Life will always bring challenges. We can’t control that. But we can choose to build ourselves into someone who can meet them with strength, courage, and resilience.

I’m incredibly grateful for this practice and for what it continues to teach me every single day. 🤍 Thank you EVENT SPACE ☆ PHOTO STUDIO and Framework for these photos!!

Working on ✨Fallen Dancer✨ step by step today.

Starting with knees, chest, chin using blocks under the shoulders (or without blocks if that feels better for your body). Then adding hamstring curls with both legs, alternating side to side, finding the quad stretch by grabbing the foot, and finally exploring Fallen Dancer.

✨ Hand beside chest
✨ Chin + chest grounded
✨ Hips lift high
✨ One leg extends as the other bends

Really use your arms, upper back, and control through the whole shape. It’s such a fun mix of strength, mobility, and openness.

Let me know if you try it and how it feels in your body.
And… do we like the new pants?

Super Soldier 🦵✨

This is one of those poses you work toward — not rush into.
Super Soldier asks for patience, mobility, and strength all at once.

Prep is everything:
• Open the shoulders and chest to create space for the bind
• Lengthen the hamstrings to support the standing leg
• Use a strap to assist the bind — it keeps the shoulders safe and accessible while you build range

Why practice Super Soldier?
• Builds powerful leg strength and stability
• Improves shoulder mobility and chest opening
• Challenges balance, focus, and coordination
• Encourages patience and body awareness
• Teaches you how prep makes the “peak” pose possible

Video breakdown ⬇️
1️⃣ Shoulder bind prep — open the chest, explore range
2️⃣ Standing open splits flowing into Warrior II
3️⃣ Super Soldier — strength, control, and presence

Progress isn’t about forcing the shape — it’s about showing up, step by step.
Strong. Open. Grounded.

Spicy at the back 🔥

Giant Reverse Twisted Saw, Giant Reverse Nighthawk, and Giant Reverse Bird Dog — all done at the back of the machine for that extra burn. These are programmed on 1 white spring 🌶️ but feel free to modify:
✨ switch to a grey for more control
✨ or take it to the front of the machine

Slow, intentional, and shaking in all the right ways. Core on, glutes fired, zero shortcuts. Who’s brave enough to try this trio? 💪
