Pro #100000 of doing a in home session is that your kids are already in their safe place, so they will feel naturally at ease and comfortable.

Let me tell ya, this session did NOT go as planned…

And you know what? I’m so glad! because the change made this session extraordinarily special to shoot 🤍.

In total honestly this session was supposed to be at a cabin and an unfortunate event made us reschedule for another day- and another plan.

We shifted and made a new game plan for the following day.

We were greeted with a movie like snow fall the following day and we shot this session at their family home doing the things that makes this family uniquely them.

They sledded to their local park, skipped through snow, roasted marshmallows over a fire in their backyard, read their favourite books, played board games and most importantly just embraced spending time doing the things they love most alongside the people they love most.

It genuinely was a beautiful reminder that there’s magic and beauty in things not going according to plan ✨

Photography and I fell in love almost 20 years ago when I was 8 years old and we have been together ever since 🤭

I am ZEALOUS about preserving and capturing the little moments in life that you want to freeze so that you can always remember. I specialize in helping families plan relaxed but incredibly FUN, photo sessions that celebrate who you are in this season and perfectly reflect the bonds you have together.
