This time I’m showing how I shot a moody vintage bo***ir session in a home setting here in Toronto — using simple gear, natural light, one lamp, and a reflector.

In the video, you’ll see:
• how I used the lamp as a key light
• why I shot from the shadow side
• how I softened shadows with a reflector
• how I used glass for a soft dreamy effect
• some final photos from the shoot

I always like showing that you don’t need a huge studio setup to create something атмосферное and красивое. Sometimes a good eye and simple tools do the job better.

In May I photographed Dana at ICON Studio’s limited flower-pool set. We started in a white gown, moved to a pink floral dress, and finished in mint with lace. The Toronto sun tried to direct the session, so I balanced the big windows with a focused continuous light and kept the mood cinematic. Tight space + water meant small, intentional poses—and the results feel dreamy and intimate.
