Happy 5th Anniversary Sue Love & Nick!!

If you’re thinking of having an intimate micro wedding in Toronto, let Sue and Nick inspire you 💛

They had a slow morning with their daughters (so cute!) before family and friends filled their home to begin celebrating. After enjoying some snacks and champagne, everyone jumped into the limo and travelled to a stunning floral garden in the east end near Leslieville and the Beaches. Musicians played while they said I do amongst the flowers and giggles of their girls. It was so joyful and beautiful to witness their love and favourite people around them ✨ after taking photos of all their loved ones, we did family photos with the girls and then some romantic couples photos before heading back to their home for evening festivities in the backyard 🎉

Our Top 7 Things To Pack For Banff Winter Elopement!

🥾Always pack your practical footwear like hiking boots, winter hiking boots & crampons. Depending on the amount of snow & ice will determine which to use. It’s great to have both just in case! We always scout our locations in advance and let our couples know which to use before we head out for adventuring! If you love a secondary shoe, like a sparkly boot, doc martens or a brave bold wedge, bring them along too! We can always swap your shoes once we’re at an epic spot so you can have the best of both worlds!!

🥰 Layers are a must! A complete base layer like merino wool, a parka or winter coat in case it snows, multiple pairs of socks and more! We provide you with a full anatomy of dressing breakdown and handy checklists of what to pack so you don’t miss a thing!

✍🏽 If you’ve decided on legally getting married in Banff, a marriage license is next on the list! We will guide you through the process of where to pick up your license and what documents to prepare. Your officiant will also assist you through the process and we will recommend incredible folks that are supportive and inclusive only! If you want to have a symbolic ceremony, we love those too and can’t wait to guide you through the vow writing process! Either way we got you 💛

💍Personalized details are one of our favourite parts of your elopement planning process. Intentionality is what we specialize in. We ensure every detail that’s important to you is uncovered and weaved into your day. Some of our recent favourites we’ve seen is cat socks and heirloom jewellery like watches & necklaces from parents that have passed away.

🍰We’re big foodies and love all things food from snacks to picnics, restaurants to room service and especially enjoying a pizza with wine. We love building into your itinerary lots of buffer room so you have a chill experience, as well as food breaks. Enjoying good food while mountain gazing is one of our personal favourite activities.

Happy Anniversary Lauren & Amber !! 💛🫶🏽

This is what it looks like after you met on Tinder, had your first date at a local brewery and could not stop talking to even order beers for 45 minutes. From there, L & A quickly spent the rest of their weekend together and have not really stopped talking since.

Talk about falling in love with your bestie 🤩 so romantic!!

They are a couple of badass womxn that decided to say 🖕🏽to societal wedding norms, elope in Banff and create their own traditions with deep intention.

From getting ready together, two bumblebees visiting as we captured their grandmothers jewellery 😭 (hey grandmas!), jumping on the bed, Amber serenading Lauren, having a first look, promising forever in the forest by a waterfall, feeding each other, picnicking with their favourite snacks & sweets, chill vibey hiking, observing moss & wild mushrooms, champagne & cheers at 1884 meters above sea level, dancing and getting down multiple times (because dancing is awesome!), and watching the stars ✨

You two are a magical light in this world, keep being exactly who you are forever and always 🥂 cheers to you two and your beautiful love!!

The day of the elopement spent 12+ hrs with us and our loved ones (who were also so impressed by them), experiencing all the mountain weather, never batting an eye.
