I don’t usually post much about myself, but this one feels special.
15 years ago, I photographed my very first wedding, with more nerves than experience, and a heart full of excitement. I never thought this would be the start of a journey that’s brought me to so many incredible people, stories, and moments.
My love for photography began with my mom, who carried her camera everywhere, documenting every moment of our childhood. And it was my brother Tony who gave me the push I needed to take that first leap. He encouraged me to shoot my first wedding and guided me along the way, mentoring me with patience when I was just starting out.
And my incredible wife Heidi. None of this would have been possible without her. She’s been my constant support through late nights and wedding seasons that never seemed to end. She’s held our fort together.

To celebrate 15 years, here are 15 facts you probably didn’t know about me

1. I love Jesus and my family

2. Pacing helps me think and be creative. I find it difficult to sit down for a long time

3. I don’t have photoshop on my computer. I’ve never learned it and never used it

4. I’m an introvert. Many people who know me find this hard to believe

5. I’m an actor. Like, an official member of Canada’s actors union. I once had an acting role in a documentary with Harvey Keitel and Patricia Heaton

6. You will never see me not wearing a watch on my wrist. Not even when I’m swimming or sleeping

7. I’m an engineer by day. I graduated 19 years ago

8. I’m a history ju**ie. In my spare time I read about history or watch history documentaries

9. I’ve been to 15 countries, 9 Canadian provinces, 24 states in the US

10. I refuse to believe people who don’t like pizza exist. And I don’t trust people who don’t like cheese

11. My coffee of choice is either breve or cortado and I make one of these *almost* every morning

12. I’m fluent in sarcasm, also a sucker for dad jokes

13. I don’t like ice cream. And most people either slightly open their mouth or completely drop their jaw in disbelief when I say this

14. I have never bought anything from Shein or Temu

15. I don’t have any tattoos or piercings, will never get either
