Strong emotions rarely announce themselves with words.
They show up in posture, in tension, in the way someone stands their ground.

The challenge with figures is the same as with people: make the body language speak.

This shot was a little experiment: cutout foamcore + printed narrative, suspended by wire. It’s one of those simple “in-camera” tricks that adds a ton of story.

I grabbed this figure at — and that’s where I’ll be teaching my next toy photography workshop: Saturday Feb 28th at 10am.

Books rattle. Shadows twist. Team Two moves as one, cutting off the escape route before the enemy can vanish again.

HO scale DR trip, continued 🇩🇴
Turns out even tiny people can’t resist a good plate and a cold drink. While they handle the table logistics, we’re celebrating 30 years together in the Dominican — good food, warm nights, and zero regrets about saying yes back in ’95.
Same trip, same love, just different scales. ❤️
