Walking through a ribcage or a bird taking flight? 🕊️ Santiago Calatrava’s masterpiece, The Oculus, is a literal breath of fresh air in the middle of Lower Manhattan. The way the light hits those white steel beams is an absolute dream for any minimalist lover.

• Best Time: Visit between 11 AM – 3 PM or after 7 PM on weekdays to avoid the peak commuter rush. 
• Photography Rule: Handheld cameras are fine, but “professional gear” like tripods often requires a permit from the Port Authority—keep it low-key to avoid being stopped! 
• The “Special” Light: On September 11th at 10:28 AM, the sun aligns perfectly through the skylight to illuminate the center of the main hall.

Behold the dazzling heart of the Amalfi Coast! ✨ The Amalfi Cathedral (Duomo di Amalfi) isn’t just a church; it’s a masterpiece where history, art, and faith collide.

Climbing that majestic staircase feels like stepping into a postcard. I stood in awe of that famous striped facade—a beautiful blend of Arab-Norman and Romanesque styles that tells the story of Amalfi’s powerful maritime past.

But the magic doesn’t stop outside! 🤩 Step through the ancient bronze doors (cast in 1066!) to discover a serene, golden-hued interior. And below it all lies the breathtaking Crypt of St. Andrew, a stunning underground sanctuary glowing with mosaics.

This place is more than a monument; it’s the soul of Amalfi.
