We spent the last 3 days of 2022 moving to a new home. But the other 362 days were pure magic with .bltzr: this year our amazing daughter Luna started her new adventure in the world, and she seems to be enjoying it. Mexicans usually say that babies bring a “Torta” (Like a sandwich but so much better) under the arm, and Luna’s Torta has been an amazing ride this year: we received our Permanent Resident Card after more than 4 years working on that, we travelled to show Luna her other home. It’s also been my first year working completely as a freelancer and it’s been wonderful: I worked with so many talented dance artists, producers, DOP’s, restaurant owners and directors this year that I can’t fit all their names in one post, but you know who you are! I travelled with to 4 different provinces in Canada filming “The Five Elements” dance film for that premiered last November on the big screen. As a film artist I received a mentorship grant from the and I was selected to be part of the 2023 Breakthrough Development Lab from . I worked as a food photographer, video editor, motion graphics animator, 1st AC, DOP and as a Director, and I enjoyed everything. It was a beautiful year and I’m so grateful for that, for sure it’s going to be an amazing 2023, we have more of Luna’s torta to share. Happy New Year everyone.
