YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!
S*x trafficking is a theme in "A Good Mother", their latest novel published this year. Research shows s*x trafficking is prevalent in the little towns and cities, like Belleville, along the 401 corridor from Windsor to Montreal.

Joy and Daniel will discuss their writing journey, including how a husband and wife work together to create domestic fiction for a global market. They want to give people a voice by highlighting a social issue in each novel. For instance, mental illness is featured in two novels, with characters suffering from PTSD.

The books are not all doom and gloom, however; there is hope and humour too. It's about stories. Everybody has a story; I'm sure each of you do too!

What better way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon, Sunday October 20, than some lively discussion with our own celebrated local authors and in support of your Quinte Grannies for Africa!
