Meet Oakley.

At 8½ years old, this handsome German Shorthaired Pointer still loves chasing squirrels as much as ever. His face has turned a little whiter over the years, but around here we like to believe that’s not age, it’s the mark of a life well lived and a face that’s been kissed thousands of times.

Photographing dogs like Oakley is a reminder that every grey whisker tells a story, every scar has an adventure behind it, and every portrait preserves a chapter of a family’s love.

It was an honour to spend time with this beautiful boy today.

Remember baby Chase? He’s a rescue from Coastal K9 Rescue Society who found his forever home on Saturday and came back the very next day with his new family to Global Pet Foods for some adorable photos with the Easter Bunny.

Do you remember Gus? Of course you do! Well, he visited Santa yesterday, and it turns out that he’s been a good boy, obviously.

I had the chance to spend the day with Santa and an amazing lineup of pets, all for a cause that matters deeply. Every photo taken helped support ElderDog Canada and the seniors they care for. Proud to be part of this event with Global Pet Foods Truro.
