The Colchester Food Bank turns 30 in 2015 and we're celebrating with our first annual Evening of Hope Not Hunger awards gala! The gala will not only serve as a fundraiser for the food bank, but will also acknowledge the strong community support we're so fortunate to have with awards for Volunteer of the Year, Individual Supporter of the Year, Business Supporter of the Year, and Group/Organization
Supporter of the Year! Our Evening of Hope Not Hunger awards gala will take place at the Best Western Glengarry, Truro, on Thursday, June 11, 2015. The elegant masquerade-themed evening starts at 5:30 pm with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner and awards, beginning at 7:00 pm. The fun-filled event will include music, costume & door prizes, cash bar as well as a balloon blitz, photo booth corner and 50/50 to put the FUN in fundraising! Masquerade masques and costumes are encouraged (we'll have prizes!), but not mandatory. We will also have masques for sale on site if you decide you want to join in on the dress-up fun after you arrive! Individual tickets to the gala are $100, while tables of eight are available for $650. Tickets will be available April 13 to May 31 and can be purchased through MacQuarrie’s Pharmasave (Esplanade location). Hope to see you there!!!
