After more than a decade behind the camera, it’s time to share something that’s been quietly growing behind the scenes...

**Eastowest Wedding Films has become Ember & Alchemy Films.**

This wasn’t a decision made overnight. Eastowest has been in this industry since 2014. It’s where I learned, grew, celebrated hundreds of incredible love stories, and built a career I’m deeply grateful for.

But over the years, my filmmaking and the team has evolved.

We have grown into a team becoming less interested in creating wedding videos that follow a formula, and more inspired by crafting films that feel honest, cinematic, and deeply personal. The quiet glances. The imperfect laughter. The moments that can’t be staged.

**”Ember” represents the warmth that remains long after the celebration ends the enduring love between two people and the memories that continue to glow long after the last dance.**

**”Alchemy” represents transformation, turning fleeting moments into something that lasts for generations.**

Together, they reflect the kind of films we want to create: timeless, emotional, and entirely unique to every couple.

A Magical Week in Mexico: Jenelle and Davis Tie the Knot!

It was truly an honor to be a part of your special day in the picturesque setting of Mexico. The love and warmth you both radiate are so real, and it was awesome to capture the magic of your wedding day.

Having known Jenelle for so long, seeing her walk down the aisle was a heartwarming experience. From our days as carefree kids, dressing alike and sharing countless giggles, messing with our sisters, to this momentous day, your journey together has been beautiful. Davis, spending more time with you during our family vacation in Mexico was a pleasure, and witnessing the love you share with Jenelle.

As I look back on your wedding film, the memories flood back, and a wave of emotions rushes through my body. The magic of your first kiss, the shared laughter, and the genuine connection between you two were truly enchanting. Being the one to document this special day was a privilege, and I cannot express how excited I am for both of you as you embark on this new chapter together.

Capturing the magic of my sister’s wedding on a sailboat in Kelowna was something I was honoured to have been able to capture. To witness her special day surrounded by breathtaking views and our family alongside on the pontoon boat was beyond words.

My ‘little’ twin sister is so much more than just family – she’s a beacon of care, kindness, and inspiration. Her hard work and dedication to personal growth leave me in awe.

In every moment, she radiates love and resilience. Also, look at how fricken beautiful is is! Cheers to the incredible woman she is and the beautiful journey that lies ahead and the lovely partner she has that I now can call my brother.

Here’s to capturing memories and cherishing the bond that goes beyond being siblings – it’s a lifelong friendship.

Andrew and Kenji || 2023

In 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Andrew and Kenji approached us with a beautiful plan to travel from Korea to British Columbia for an intimate elopement. Little did we know, their journey would be full of twists and turns due to the pandemic.

Over the years, we had to navigate constant emailing back and forth about rescheduling and postponements, but in 2023, their dream became a reality as they finally made their way to Vancouver. On top of a stunning mountain, they exchanged vows and officially tied the knot!

This journey was made even more special by the incredible collaboration with Erica Miller Photography , Young, Hip And Married , and SKY Helicopters Inc.. We feel incredibly honored to have been the chosen video team to capture the magic of Andrew and Kenji's love story.
