Stellar Sealions taken at different times and different places. The right Stellars are American taken in Aug 2009 out side of Juneau Alaska with my old Panasonic DMC -FZ50 and other is Canadian Stellars taken in Aug 2016 outside of Victoria,BC with my Canon EOS 7D. Alaskan Stellars are in decline in recent years where as the BC Stellars are growing in numbers.

More pictures from my trip to Manning Park, a beautiful place. The first is the great Canadian honker : Canada Goose. The other is a Columbia Ground Squirrel guarding his basement suite. I always enjoy visiting the park with a side stop at The Farm House Natural Cheese near Harrison Hot Springs.. Their cheese & ice crease are very highly recommended me.

4 photos from Burnaby Lake at different times. Number 1 is juvenile Bald Eagle taking a bath with a Crow watching taken in Dec 2018. The second is a male Green-winged Teal swimming looking for food in Mar of 2019. Next is a Red-winged Blackbird singing in Mar 2013. Finally, the last one is male Ring-Necked Duck just resting between drive in Apr 2024. These are 4 reasons to love Burnaby Lake.
