My time in Portugal is coming to a close and I’m sad about it! My gosh, time just travels. But to be totally honest I have done A LOT in 2 full months, and it’s not quite over yet!

I miss my home. I’m very ready for the next chapter of this adventurous life I get to live. 🫶🏼

Ps — Tofino sessions in September…? yes, 100% recommend. 🥹💛 The light, the reflection in the sand. Ugh. Melt.

Off to this morning to soak in some sun in the and enjoy my last week in Portugal before I head off to Berlin on Friday night. Im going to miss the heat on the coastline, but I know I’m going to love it.

Throwback to Becky & Brent’s elopement in Banff, in 2019. Still a series I share because I loved and admired their adventurous spirit, and your old work deserves to be shared. It’s still a representation of my work, my current work, and I love it.

I am off to for a night before I begin my journey to for a few days, then down to and . Portugal has easily been my favourite country I’ve travelled through so far yet. But I’m excited to experience Italy, and then visit my partner in . We have not seen each other since early March, and while the long distance has been quite easy because we are both on our independent endeavours for our personal growth, I certainly can’t wait to squeeze the crap out of him, and explore Berlin!

Looking at all of my last work has left me feeling so inspired for my future work. I’m feeling incredibly excited to work with my camera again, and go further.

In the other day, I had my camera out and this older gentleman walked by me and blurts “a Pentax!!” — we’re talking 80+, looked like a sailor, and I said my camera was a Sony but I do have a Pentax film! We talked for a bit, and he showed me his camera that he had. He seemed to be very big into film and I just adored him. I am going back to Sintra tomorrow to spend a night because it was just so, so beautiful. It deserves more time! I’m very hopeful to run into him because I 1) want to take his portrait and 2) I want to learn from him 😂🥹 He was just, so cool.

Travelling solo has taught me so much. But the most special parts are the random little connections. They bring me a lot of joy. People are just so beautiful. I’m grateful to be here. 🥹
