As the fifth day of the Invictus Games came to a close, Canadian veterans, athletes and their families shared moments of laughter, tears and joy.

Competing against fellow service members from around the world, Canada had strong performances in both alpine skiing and snowboarding, earning several podium finishes.

Over the last six months, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside an incredible team of volunteers. Together we helped put on the 33rd annual

Like many Canadian families, cancer has impacted the lives of those I love and cherish dearly. Having the opportunity to give back this year through fundraising and outreach brings me back to my childhood, spending evenings at the hospital doing homework by my mothers side.

The reality is that cancer can impact any one of us at all stages of our lives. The importance of screening continues to be essential now more than ever. If you have a minute to spare, I encourage you to co-sign our letter calling for organized breast cancer screenings for all Canadians starting at age 40. You can find the link in my bio. 💖

From sleeping on park benches, bumming across BC, planting thousands of trees to their demise, pooping in peculiar places and ultimately getting lost in the joy of the journey. Never did I imagine meeting one of my idols. Who knew all it’d take is running 100k!?
