This portrait of wouldn't have been possible is his wife hadn't been 9n set to help! That trumpet on his head was too tall to balance on its own, so I clamped it to a light stand and had her hold it above her head like a boom mic.

You know it, you love it, and I think should have a look at it for their photo contest. This image of music professor is far and away one of my most successful compositions, and definitely one of my most classical portraits! A special thanks goes out to , who gifted me the vintage lens used to take this image - that tiny bit of softness really ties the whole vintage look together!

It's photo contest time! I'm trying my hand at 's 4th Annual photo contest, and seeing as how this year's theme is portraiture, I think I've got some interesting stuff in the archives to show off! Over the next while, we're gonna go through some of my strongest images along with a little about them.

This one takes me back to my first fashion photo outing in Toronto's as part of 's media team. This event right here really helped me come into my own as a potential fashion photographer, and gave me a new body of work to grow excited about! And now here we are, a year out from this show with a whole portfolio all put together!
