This was such a fun, dreamy grad casuals session! From the golden hour glow to the sweetest moments with horses and cows, every second felt magical. We chased the sunset until it dipped behind the hills. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening!!

It’s always been an honor to return and photograph the Leguee family who have been lifelong neighbors of mine. This session was especially meaningful.
Sadly, later that year, Sharon who was such a beautiful spark of life, a wife, mother, and grandma, passed away.
I know what photos mean after someone passes away, as they take on a deeper meaning. We hold them closer, cherishing them even more as we try to feel close to them again. 🥹
I find myself smiling at the memories captured, while tears fall as I look through these images, knowing how deeply she is missed, especially by her family.

Just across the Manitoba border, Caden & Alexa welcomed me onto their farm for their engagement session that felt so them!
We started in the very spot where they’ll be saying their vows. Then spent the evening chasing light through pastures, climbing hay bales, and running wild through a field. The kind of session that’s equal parts calm, playful, and full of love.
And of course we ended the evening with their cows and their energetic pup!
If this is what their engagement session looks like, I already know their wedding day is going to be unforgettable. I truly can’t wait to be back there capturing it all again.

Tanner & Taryn tied the knot on the most perfect summer day. From their emotional first look to quiet just-married moments and golden sunset photos, they truly made space to soak it all in together.
I felt so lucky to be welcomed like part of the family. We shared laughs, great conversations, and hopping on the party bus with the wedding party. And to top it all off, the night ended with me climbing a very tall ladder for one epic group shot.

Ten years. One wedding. And a family I’ve had the honor of photographing ever since. 💛

I first met Cody & Niki when they hired me to photograph their wedding. Their wedding was the first one I photographed after my husband, Eric, passed away.

That day will forever hold such a special place in my heart. It came at a time when I needed it most and lit a fire in me again that just needed a little extra spark. Their wedding was absolutely beautiful—but even more special was the friendship that grew from it.
Year after year they’ve invited me back to capture their lives as their family grew… adding the sweetest little ones and so many memories along the way.

So to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, I travelled out to their farm and photographed them right where their story continues every day. And for once we had a warm summer evening, something they definitely deserved after so many chilly fall sessions while waiting for harvest to wrap up.

Getting invited back again and again is something I will never take for granted. Thank you for trusting me with so many memories over the past decade. It truly means more than I can ever put into words. 💛

My sweet honey baby 🍓

We were gone at the end of January for a little hot holiday as a family, it was so, so wonderful!! Two weeks with my family with no work, no schedules, no normal life interruptions…just tons of family time, swimming at the pool/ocean- absolutely magical.
Nellie had her little Valentines session once we were home. I just adore her & her little personality! 💛

I have been thinking of offering the choice of a Motherhood Mini Session & Kids Mini Portrait day!

It’s been a few years since I did the kids portraits (they were called Gallery Wall Mini Sessions), but I just love the photos I do of my daughter on all the backdrop set ups & loved doing these in the past for others! The motherhood minis would be something new, but they also would be indoors and on a backdrop for a natural, timeless feel.

I will put a few polls in my stories so you can vote there or in the comments below. I’m thinking of offering both and you can choose which one suits you best.
