Is anyone else finding the transition back to "normal" harder or than they could have ever imagined? Sweatpants and weekend nights streaming shows instead of going out have become a hard thing to give up!

Despite not posting for a long while, I've been busy for the past 18 months or so. And for much of the pandemic when no one was vaccinated and I was working in a classroom, I took a break from photography for the first time in many years. It was sad to put down my camera, my main creative outlet, but it was the safest thing to do at the time. And anyway - being a teacher this past school year took all my mental and creative energy.

However, I was blessed with a new nephew this spring right around the time everyone started getting vaccinated. That timing really helped spur me to reconnect with my camera and the joy of capturing moments in families, between friends, and with my gorgeous cats ;)

Over the next while I'll share some of the photos I've taken since I last posted almost two years ago. I hope it brings you some joy to see these frozen moments of love, happiness, and peace.
