I’m am sooooo excited about this lens I have been wanting one for some time at a reasonable price and scooped this DEROGY up for $600 Canadian it came with original Waterhouse stop, lens fl**ge and lens cap! I will be making a lens cap in order to preserve the original. It covers 8” x 10” perfectly and has vignette on 11” x14” plates but here are some 5” x 7” test tintypes!

Kodak Brownie six16 Target I received from my Great Aunt Natalie Kurzuk. This Camera belonged to her father, my late Great Grandfather John Kurzuk I’m extremely excited and grateful to add this to my Collection of Kodak supplies from the same period.
I have a paper/film guillotine slicer, measuring beakers, funnel, masking and contact printing frames, developing trays and some original developer powders! Not shown but in storage is Kodak balancing scale and more darkroom equipment to be added at a later date.

Wet plate meets Rollieflex!! So I picked up this cool plate holder adapter for my roller flex on e-bay for $60 and came with original box and 6 plate holders and the back to to make it happen and there was even a ground glass back to boot amazing!! You pull the slide and the ground glass pop forward into the focal plane, and the plate holder’s also do this but with the use of a tab that locks it into place all in all this lil set up was fun and inspired me to want to put together a super small portable setup in a suitecase!!!

Last year I acquired this mint premo no8 dry plate camera that needed nothing except bellows. I was just gonna make them until I got a really rough parts kodak folding 3b with good red leather bellows and a pneumatic shutter Bausch and lomb lens so I popped them both on this camera and made a bulb trigger from a thrift store find for $1 a blood pressure cuff hahaha it works. Now it’s time to shoot!!

With the wet collodion process potassium cyanide is used to fix your plates also used is sodium thiosulfate shown here is a Glass vile of sodium thiosulfate which is used to treat potassium cyanide poisoning I found this little fun fact quite interesting

My new homemade 16” X 20” ulf wet plate collodion silver nitrate dip tank. Made from 1/4” black Plexi. For scale I’ve sat it next to my 1/4 plate tank with its wood case. Now I just gotta make a stand for it and maybe an adjustable stainless steel dipper.
