Few insights of a posing workshop in Zürich.

It was super nice, great people, willing to step out of their comfort zone and try few things they haven’t done before.

The master skill in modeling is to RELAX.
Much harder to do on command than you think;)

Being aline in focus, standing your feet in the ground, having another person REALLY looking at you-> is hard!
It is an extremly vurnurable position to be in. You HAVE TO “let your pants down”

There is NO HIDING.
So…we practised to stay calm, relaxe the face, relax the body parts needed for the mood that is asked.

Overposing is way easier- you get to act and you take on a role, a persona thatbis not you naturally. Therefore its not personal…..therefore you can’t get hurt as much as when you fully relax and have to
JUST BE YOU. the person that is made this way, born this way.

Remember: a relaxed expression IS you a hundret percent.
Like when you are asleep…. Who likes to be observed whilst sleeping… ?completely out of your controll…..? Can’t pretend…..raw.

So if you master to do that on command- it is a big deal!

Posing Workshop!

In this Workshop you will descover your natural and authentic way in front of the camera. I will guide you towards the best way of looking relaxed but powerful.

In the first part we will find out what ypur chocolate side is and how you can bring that out. Are you the „cool poser“? Can you let us in and show the soft and vurnubal side of yourself? Relaxed, authentic and beautiful- that is waht we are aiming for here.

In the second part you learn to change in your stage persona. Bring out the side your stage character in a stil authentic way without it looking too masked and acted.
We want authenticy! Work with what you have and upscale that.

Three photographers are taking pictures from you, each one with a different style and approach- you will get many good photos of yourself in fashion/street photography and glamour shots.

It‘s completely out of my comfort-Zone to „just be“ and not add something extra….
Harder done than said. I absolutely love myself. But also I prefer to have a special extra added….as a another layer or shall we call it out and name the child by the name: as my protection shield.
The Logic, in my head, goes like this:
In case I am not enough as I come, ill add an extra sprinkle to it so IF Im still not 10 out of 10….maybe the added whatever will->
•Push it over the edge of making it to a ten? •Will maybe distract enough from not being a it all, so you don‘t have time to realize it…?
• in case im not enough you at leastget to enjoy the style of it all?

Aha- I live myself a lot but carry this stupid insecurity along to have to outperform JUST IN CASE. Wild.

Good thing is: I know about it, i keep an eye on it and try my best to catch me whilst doing it and then….grow, reflect, dare…..

Anyways……. Do you know whats your weird survival strategy?
