Today we celebrate an art form that lets us freeze time, tell stories, and show the world through our unique eyes.
To every photographer reading this, whether you've been shooting for decades or just picked up your first camera yesterday, your perspective matters. Your story deserves to be told.
As a 14-year-old photographer, I've learned that age doesn't define talent. Passion does. Curiosity does. The courage to see beauty where others see ordinary that's what makes a photographer.
To the young dreamers scrolling: Don't wait for the "perfect" camera or the "right" moment. Start with what you have. Your phone, your grandfather's old camera, whatever just start capturing the world as YOU see it.
PS:I started with my mum's phone ๐คญ
To my fellow African photographers: Our stories, our landscapes, our people, our culture - they need to be told by US. We are the authors of our own narratives.
Today, I'm celebrating not just photography, but every person brave enough to pick up a camera and say "this moment matters."
To my seniors Lione images Penjo Baba Penjo Baba Cameroonian Weddings by BLUE ZONE IMAGE Tata Afahnyui Switch Entertainment and every photographer I can't mention.
