In April 2025, a large group of cyclists from Serbia, mostly students, young people, activists and those who supported them along the way, set off from Belgrade on an important mission. Their goal was the city of Strasbourg, in France,  and the message they carried in their hearts was that of freedom, equality, responsibility, nobility, perseverance, solidarity and many other values that are currently lacking or limited in their country of origin.
We set out with them in the desire to support this mission and to pursue our own - one that has always been concerned with visual documentation and conveying the message of the stated values.
Tour de Strasbourg, a comprehensive reportage by Kamerades members .pavicevic4 .pancic is now live on our website.

Celebrating Epiphany in Serbia.
On this date, rivers, lakes and churches fill with courage, faith, and tradition as people dive into icy waters to retrieve the Holy Cross. The day marks the baptism of Jesus and reminds believers of renewal, hope, and strength. More than a ritual, it’s a symbol of community and spirit that warms even the coldest winter day.

Đunis, Kruševac — On the night of 13–14 October, the Đunis Monastery witnessed a stirring display of faith, as several thousand Orthodox believers made pilgrimage to pay homage to the feast of the Protection (Veil) of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one of the most beloved feasts in the Serbian Orthodox Church.

The celebration begins on the eve of the feast with an all-night vigil. Worshippers crowd inside the monastery, many sleeping in the sanctuary or its courtyard, clasping candles in their hands, heads bowed in prayer. As midnight deepens into early hours, the Akathist to the Holy Virgin is sung — a hymn of praise and supplication.
At the break of dawn, the faithful who stayed through the night gather for the Divine Liturgy. In the early light, worshippers glance skyward, anticipating a sign — a symbolic manifestation of Mary’s omophorion (veil, cloak) as a protective covering extended over her flock. The motif recalls the historical origins of the feast, tied to the apparition of the Theotokos in the Blachernae church of Constantinople, spreading her veil over the people in prayer.

The Feast of the Protection (Pokrov Presvete Bogorodice) has deep resonance in Serbian Orthodoxy. It recalls historical moments of intercession and divine protection, especially in times of danger or suffering. At Đunis, the devotion to this feast reflects that history, but also the living faith of people today, seeking comfort and shelter under Mary’s mantle.

30/04/2025

Taj proces započet je odavno, i on nezaustavljivo traje, u svakom trenutku.

Stefan Pavić, najmlađi i najperspektivniji član našeg kolektiva živi u središtu depopulacione tišine. Njihove misli i osećanja pretočene u vizuelne impresije možete pogledati u galeriji Metodi Meta Petrov u Dimitrovgradu do kraja meseca maja.
