This tiny baby cuttlefish may be only about 2 cm long, but it already has one of the ocean’s most incredible superpowers — the ability to change its color and patterns in an instant. 🌈
Born looking like a perfect miniature adult, it can already camouflage, hunt and explore the underwater world all on its own.
Sometimes the smallest encounters make the biggest impression. 💙🌊

Meet Cotylorhiza tuberculata, better known as the fried egg jellyfish. 🍳🪼 But here’s something even more fascinating — this beauty is partly solar-powered! ☀️ It lives in symbiosis with microscopic algae that use sunlight to produce energy.

And it’s not just beautiful — it can become a tiny floating ecosystem, providing shelter for juvenile fish and other small marine creatures among its oral arms. 🐟💙

Proof that sometimes the most fascinating worlds are hiding in plain sight beneath the surface. 🌊✨
