On March 17, I played a free live improvisation at Spina in Berlin.

On that date, the great Laura Herz and I hosted an event called »Bild Text Ton« where we brought together photography, poetry and music.

It was a wonderful night.

Laura exhibited a selection of her fantastic photo works, the DJs Annechoic and Jan Dreseke played records, and I read from my long poem »Washington Square Park« — and performed as Cellarkalt.

I decided to make the recording of the Cellarkalt set available. The pricing is 0, but I'd be happy about any donations. 🙂

Coming up next: »Acid Trips 3«, the last part of the »Acid Trips« series on S***f Trax.

One more time we bring you four tracks from different artists, exploring the wild field of acid house.

On »Acid Trips 3« we meet again good old acquaintances such as Larionov & St. Theodore and Boneless One, known from their former releases on S***f Cuts and S***f Trax. And we warmly welcome Halbert Halbert and David Bocabeats Torres to the label, two great artists from Mallorca's exciting underground scene.

The A-side kicks of with the anthemic »Savage« by Larinov & St. Theodore,
followed by Halbert's groove monster »Motoracid«.

On the B, Bocabeats delivers pumping Ghetto House vibes with »2MUCHBOOTYINMYHOUSE«.
Last but not least, the one and only Boneless One enchants with his »Feeling«, where the pure bliss of emotional strings meets some nasty 303 action.

Yo Berlin!

Today, I‘d like to highlight a very special thing I‘m involved in. Not as S***fo but with my other arts.

On Sunday (17th March), the amazing Laura Herz and I will be hosting together an exciting evening at SPINA in Friedrichshain.

Under the event name „BILD TEXT TON“, we bring together photography, poetry and experimental sound.

Laura will show an ace selection of her thematic photos, I will read from an yet unpublished long poem of mine (in German), and I also will do a free live improvisation of my experimental project Cellarkalt.

Plus, we have the great DJs Annechoic and Jan Dreseke behind the decks, playing fantastic soundscapes.

I‘m totally looking forward to this event, and I hope to see many friends and buddies and like-minded souls there. 🙂

Schweren Herzens müssen wir bekannt geben, dass unser langjähriger Wegbegleiter, Kollege und Freund Walter Handler am 9.9.2022 von uns gegangen ist.

Walter Handler hat mit viel Engagement und ambitionierten Zielen aus einem kleineren Handwerksbetrieb ein großes Bauunternehmen entwickelt. Er hat dabei nie den Menschen aus den Augen verloren und stets den persönlichen Kontakt gesucht und gepflegt.

Walter Handler hat die Geschichte des Unternehmens geprägt und wird uns als Mensch immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Unser tiefes Mitgefühl gilt der Familie Handler sowie seinen engsten Vertrauten.
