Marseille, Bébé — wind, light and everything in between 💛
Being there always opens something in me. I followed that feeling while walking through the nature, the city, and sharing those moments with the talented l’irrégulière, Céramiste Marseille, discovering all those new colours and shapes inspired me to create these sensitive but honest portraits, reflecting her deeply touching and poetic work.

In her words:
“That day, we set off with Walter (my dog) to show Paula the Calanques. The Mistral (wind) was in our hair, her camera full of images, and a tasty fish and chips in between.
Later, Paula took out her flash in the blue stairway.
She’s one of those people with whom moments simply exist, free and sensitive.”

Être là-bas ouvre toujours quelque chose de particulier en moi. J’ai suivi ce ressenti en me baladant dans la nature, la ville, et en partageant ces moments avec la talentueuse l’irrégulière, Céramiste Marseille, à découvrir toutes ces nouvelles couleurs et formes m’a inspirée à créer des portraits à la fois sensibles et honnêtes, reflétant son travail profondément touchant et poétique.

«Ce jour-là, nous étions parties avec Walter faire découvrir les calanques à Paula. Il y avait du mistral dans nos cheveux. Son appareil photo plein d’images. Un fish and chips.

Between ancient volcanic rocks and my own bare presence, I’ve touched something honest. After more than 15 years behind the lens, this is the first self-portrait where I feel my core looking back at me, where how I look and how I feel finally align.

Time is a mystery, always moving, yet sometimes pausing just long enough for us to meet ourselves.
This was that moment.
