My friends over mpb.com asked me what has changed in my photography, and I loved that question. It’s crazy how time flies sometimes, isn’t it? When I first started taking pictures every day, it was more of a way to explore the city. I wanted to see new things, crazy things. Berlin from above, from below. From the highest rooftops to the deepest subway tunnels.
If you swipe left, for example, you see one of my favorite pictures from 2017. I had a Sony A7 with a 28-70 Kit lens attached, so I was pretty versatile and prepared for different locations.
Nowadays, I focus more on portrait photography and mostly rely on fixed focal lengths. I took the portrait of my friend Jordan with a Leica SL provided by mpb.com, for example. Different genres require different camera setups, and it’s so easy to purchase or even trade camera gear on MPB.
