Highlights of our trip day 6 in Grand Teton National Park:
Saw the sun rise off the Tetons at Schwabacher Landing.
Headed next to Jenny Lake and hiked the Jenny Lake Trail up to the Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. Took the shuttle ferry back across the lake to see the mountains from a different perspective.
Cruised the Jenny Lake scenic Drive.
Drove to the top of Signal Mountain for an amazing view of the entire valley.
Next stop was the Jackson Lake Marina for a late lunch.
Visited the Cunningham Cabin historic site, stopped at the Snake River Overlook, and to end the day we were lucky to see a field full of wild horses and bison.

We got an earlier start today to try to beat the heat, that along with a few tall mountains to our east kept us out of the sun for the first third of the day. We had over 4,000 feet of descent to go along with gain as we went up and over Silver Pass.

Day 5 brought us from Yellowstone's thermal wonders straight into the iconic peaks of Grand Teton!Here is what we got up...

Day 5 brought us from Yellowstone's thermal wonders straight into the iconic peaks of Grand Teton!
Here is what we got up to:
*Sulphur Caldron: An extremely acidic, bubbling hot spring located in the Mud Volcano area of Yellowstone National Park
*West Thumb Geyser Basin: Explored colorful hot springs and geysers as well as catching a group of elk taking a morning dip in the lake!
*Lewis Falls: Quick, scenic pit stop on our way south into Grand Teton.
*Chapel of the Sacred Heart: Built in the 1930’s and located within Grand Teton National Park on the south shore of Jackson Lake.
*Oxbow Bend and Jackson Lake Dam and Reservoir.
*Taggart Lake Trail: Hiked among epic mountain reflections and classic alpine views.
*Dornan’s Pizza & Pasta Co.: Refueled with a late lunch and unbeatable front-row views of the Tetons. 🍕🍺
*Mormon Row: Photographed the famous T.A. Moulton Barn set against the jagged mountain backdrop.

Highlights of day 4 in Yellowstone National Park:
🌅 Sunrise hike along the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (North & South Rims)
🦬 Wildlife viewing through Hayden Valley
🌋 Mud Volcano, Dragon's Mouth Spring & Black Dragon's Caldron
🧺 Lakeside lunch at Gull Point
📸 Return trip to Artist Point for afternoon views
🍽️ Dinner at M66 Lounge in Canyon Village
Off to Grand Teton National Park tomorrow 👍🏻
