CYCLOPS VS. MAGNETO

The original concept of this was going to be much grander. My memory of Uncanny X-Men 112-113 was them fighting, surrounded by lava, with Cyclops' eyebeams bouncing off a magnetic shield around Magneto. Flipping back through the books it wasn't quite what I remembered so I went with something smaller.

This is also another attempt to try to get a widescreen "film" look. Still don't think I have it yet but, maybe a little closer.

Occasionally I'll find an existing comic cover that I can recreate. This one was done by Mike Deodato and one of the rare instances that I did not use a Bowen Designs statue.

DAREDEVIL AND BLACK WIDOW - FIRE

Circa 2014, this was one of the first images where I started incorporating layers, adding in some color overlay along with the floating embers. I remastered it in 2019 and gave it a different crop.
