From high up at Berggasthaus Schäfler straight down to the dreamy Seealpsee! 🥾⛰️🇨🇭If you want an epic, full-on alpine adventure without any cable cars, this ridge-and-valley descent in the Alpstein mountains is unmatched.

👇 Quick Guide:

📌 Start: Right at the dramatic ridge of Berggasthaus Schäfler (1,920m).

📌 The Trail: Follow the alpine path down from the ridge, passing near Ebenalp/Äscher or via mountain huts down toward the valley. Expect steep zig-zags, rocky sections, and mind-blowing views of the peaks above and the lake below.

📌 Duration: Roughly 2.5 to 3 hours of continuous downhill hiking.

✅ Tip: You need good grip and sturdy hiking boots for the steep upper ridge paths. Save your energy for the final stretch down to the crystal-clear waters of Seealpsee!
