Maternity photography doesn’t have to be built around elaborate dresses or dramatic locations.

Sometimes the strongest photographs come from a quieter setting, where the focus stays entirely on the two people waiting for their baby.

This session mixed simple portraits with small everyday details: sitting close together, sharing tea, touching the baby bump. The result feels personal rather than ceremonial, and that is exactly what I wanted from these photographs.

Khem Beach and Sunset Town can look like two completely different photoshoots, yet they are close enough to combine in one afternoon on Phu Quoc.

This family session started on the white sand of Khem Beach, continued after a quick outfit change, and finished among the colorful architecture, fountains and evening light of Sunset Town. The full route took about 2.5 hours and resulted in 75 edited photographs.

Sunset Town is one of the places I recommend when clients want more than a beach photoshoot on Phu Quoc. The architecture, staircases, narrow streets and Mediterranean-style buildings give us many different backgrounds within a relatively small area.

As a photographer in Phu Quoc, I like using these surroundings to create wider portraits where the location becomes part of the story. In this frame, the curved staircase and greenery lead the eye directly to the couple, while the buildings above give the photograph the unmistakable character of Sunset Town.

It works especially well for couple, honeymoon, anniversary and pre-wedding photography on Phu Quoc Island, when clients want a gallery with more variety than one beach can provide.
