A few behind the scenes from an upcoming project and extension of the collective project Urds Brønd with 🐌

The project Urds Brønd was developed in and about Aarhus and Ry and therefore uses tales, folklore, sites, and archeological findings from the area of Midtjylland in its creation and as its foundation.

The project is in particular inspired by the archaeological findings of Alken Enge and Forlev Mose, around Skanderborg, Denmark.

Collage of negatives by .baekgaard and myself from the exhibition "negative spaces"

This collage is one out of three collective art works made from both new, old, and archival negatives in different film formats. Plus a few contact prints.

The display is a visualisation of our collaboration. An investigation into our photographic practice and a. exploration of the photograph as both a negative and positive image of the outside world or of an inner space - of a negative space 🕳

The photographs are displayed on light podiums making use of the transparency of the negative.

Close up installation photos of the collective art work “Komponenter (45 fotogrammer)” by .baekgaard and myself.

The work consists of 45 photograms. All made in the darkroom and hand sewn by Lotte and me in the moonlight 🌕

A very slow but rewarding process 🐌

The art work can be seen in the exhibition "negative spaces" until the end of April 2023.

In the exhibition"negative spaces" you will find both individual and collaborative pieces by .baekgaard and myself.

This collage is one out of three collective art works made from both new, old, and archival negatives in different film formats. Plus a few contact prints.

The display is a visualisation of our collaboration. It’s an art work in its own right but at the same time it’s also a display of our process and way of thinking through and with photography.

The negatives and contact sheets are displayed on light podiums making use of the transparency of the negative. While also investigating the negative and positive of an image and image making.

The exhibition is installed until the end of April.
