There were so many incredible bands at this year’s Epic Fest — but a few stood above the rest.
Sonata Arctica delivered a performance that completely blew me away. I’ve seen them a few times before, but this… this was something else. Their best show yet, without a doubt.
Hearing "White Pearl, Black Oceans..." live for the very first time hit hard. That song has carried me through some dark moments, and standing there, feeling it live — it gave me chills all over. A moment I won’t forget.
Tony Kakko was absolutely on fire that night. His voice, the energy, the connection — everything just clicked. The setlist was damn near perfect, and from where I stood, every single song landed exactly as it should.
And on top of it all — being able to capture it through my camera made it even more special.
