Monday evening there were festive fireworks with the northern lights in the sky

He he - still testing, and now with wings - you could say I'm flying at the moment :-)
See a lot of possibilities with this concept, so continue to improve it and soon I will switch to using live models.

As usual, this is made by doing lightpainting in the studio and no photoshop or similar has been used.

I keep smiling and I'm happy

Long time, without anything new.... but I'm working on something special.

The above video clip is a taste test, which was carried out with only one light source - which is my mobile phone I hold in my hand.

These are pictures from 8 cameras, which take the pictures simultaneously and they where taken over 6 seconds, and for the first half a second the mobile phone light shines on me, when I turn the light towards the cameras and write my first name in reverse 😉

More to come 🪄

Smile and be happy

A U R O R A seen from Liseleje (North Zealand)

Both images were taken with a Nikon Z 6 + Sigma Art 20mm f/1.4

The first image (actually taken later than the second image), was taken over 39 seconds at f/3.5 ISO-2000 20mm. Within the 39 seconds, the wife and I switched to lifting a tube with a light in it, behind each other, moved a bit and repeated the process. We control when the light must be on. The camera was set in TIME mode, which means that a press on the supplied remote control started the camera to expose, and a press again to stop the exposure.

The second image was taken over 15 seconds at f/3.5 ISO-2000 20mm. The camera was here set to expose for 15 seconds, so with a press of the remote control it was the 'start signal' for the camera.

Both images are post-processed in Lightroom - and effects are NOT added during the post-processing, I only allow myself to remove unwanted objects/elements in my images, e.g. traces of planes in the night sky, seaweed floating on the surface of the water and the like.

Smile and be happy
