Roe Buck is marking his territories by rubbing his antlers agains trees and bushes. The Roe Buck have glands at the forehead that produce a oily scent. This is a scent mark for other bucks that this is taken area.

This young Buck is 2 years old, he was born in this forrest area and we have watched him on trailcamera.

Tonight was one of those really special days ♥
Roe deer and its 4-5 days old fawn, they where there all evening.

Værnenegene a part of Tipperne, Ringkøbing Fjord in West Jutland

This is a paradise for birders and photographers, the area is very important for alot of migrating birds. Geese, ducks, owls and alot of different waders.
The peak of migration is in april and october.

Here you see the roe deer licking its nose, and the reason for it is to keep it wet and moist. Its critical in the cold weather condition to keep the nose moist, to be able to capture more scent particles.
