Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?

We do. However we think that we should be showing love to our loved ones 365 days a year.
This is also a good excuse for us to have a romantic escape, but
due to the partial lockdown we haven’t been able to travel anywhere this weekend and this is ok. We just hope the current situation will improve soon 🙏🏼

📸 The city of arts & sciences in Valencia hosts the open access “Hung Galaxy” exposition, a set of fourteen sculptures by the artist Hung Yi, inspired by Taiwanese culture and day-to-day life, with the bright colours that are seen in traditional Taiwanese patterns.

The sculptures will be there until next Sunday if you are interested!

Nosotros si. Sin embargo, deberíamos mostrar detalles de carińo a nuestros seres queridos los 365 días del año.
Esta fecha siempre es una buena excusa para darnos una escapada romántica, pero por el confinamiento, no hemos podido viajar y no pasa nada. Solo esperamos que la situación actual mejore pronto 🙏🏼

📸 La ciudad de las artes y las ciencias de Valencia acoge la exposición de acceso abierto “Hung Galaxy”, un conjunto de catorce esculturas del artista Hung Yi, inspiradas en la cultura y el día a día taiwaneses, con los colores vivos que se ven en patrones tradicionales taiwaneses.

Las esculturas estarán allí hasta el próximo domingo por si te interesa 😉

Bye Bye November!
December is here and we are quite excited to put up our decorated Christmas tree this year because we will spend this time in a very particular way. As you might have read in our previous posts, we recently moved to our new home overlooking the sea in South Spain and so far so marvellous.
Even though we won't be able to travel to meet our family due to the restrictions we have in our region it will not be an obstacle to enjoy this sparkling festivity only the 3 of us ❤️.

Diciembre está aquí y estamos muy emocionados por poner nuestro árbol de Navidad este año porque pasaremos nuestra Navidad de una manera muy particular. Como os hemos contado, recientemente nos mudamos al sur de España a nuestra propiedad con vistas al mar. Y aunque no podremos viajar para reunirnos con nuestra familia debido a las restricciones que tenemos en nuestra región, esto no será un obstáculo para disfrutar de estas fiestas sólo entre nosotros 3.

✨ Don't wish for it, work for it.

A dream is just a dream without action, consistency and hard work. I truly believe we can do anything we put our minds to. This has been my (Moni) motto since I left my parents to live on my own abroad. And one of my dreams since I got married in 2016 was to live by the sea with my family and finally our dream came true. We have settled down in Valencia region this month and are taking full advantange of the warm temperature and all the outdoor activities this region has to offer.
So don't give up, we can do anything with hard work, determination and a good attitude.

Un sueño es sólo un sueño sin acción, consistencia y trabajo duro. Todos podemos realizar cualquier cosa que deseamos. Esta ha sido mi (Moni) filosofia desde que dejé a mis padres para independizarme. Y uno de mis sueños desde que me casé en 2016 era vivir junto al mar con mi familia y finalmente esto se hizo realidad. Nos hemos establecido en la región de Valencia desde este mes y estamos aprovechando la cálida temperatura y las actividades que está zona ofrece. Así que no te rindas, podemos realizar cualquier cosa con trabajo duro, determinación y una buena actitud.

This year is being so intense. After 3 months of lockdown earlier this year, we had to adapt to a new virus and learn to live with it.
We got a new professional opportunity and are moving next month to South Spain.
We were able and blessed to complete a project from where we will see magical sunrises and sunsets.

We are so excited to start this new chapter of adventure and share it with you all 💛.

Este año está siendo muy intenso. Después de 3 meses de confinamiento total, a principios de este año, tuvimos que adaptarnos a un nuevo virus y aprender a vivir con él.
Recibimos una nueva oportunidad profesional y el próximo mes nos mudamos al sur de España.
Pudimos finalmente completar un proyecto desde donde podremos ver amaneceres y atardeceres mágicos.

Estamos muy contentos de comenzar este nuevo capítulo de aventura y compartirlo con todos vosotros 💛.

🌟 Happy Saturday Everybody!
We are back home in Madrid, after spending 2 months in Italy with our family.
We had a trip in mind for this weekend but yesterday the Spanish government has ordered a partial lockdown. Residents are not allowed to leave the city unless we have to make an essential journey 🤷🏻‍♀️
In the mean time we will be sharing our travel adventures from the last 2 months in Italy!😉

Estamos de vuelta en casa en Madrid, después de pasar 2 meses en Italia con nuestra familia.
Teníamos un viaje en mente para este fin de semana, pero ayer el gobierno español ordenó un cierre parcial de la ciudad. A los residentes no se nos permite salir de la ciudad a menos que tengamos que hacer una gestión imprescindible. 🤷🏻‍♀️
¡Mientras tanto, compartiremos nuestras aventuras de viaje de los últimos 2 meses en Italia! 😉

This summer we have spent our holidays in those uncrowded spots through the coast with a few getaways to the countryside in Molise Region, where our Italian family lives. The Covid-19 situation in Europe clearly urges us to be cautious in the way we plan our travels.

This is now time to go back home in Spain to start with new and exciting projects.

Este verano hemos pasado nuestras vacaciones por esos lugares menos concurridos de la costa con algunas escapadas a la montaña en la región de Molise, donde vive nuestra familia italiana.
La situación con el Covid-19 nos obliga a ser más precavidos con nuestros planes de viaje.
Ahora, es tiempo de volver a casa en España para empezar con nuevos y emocionantes proyectos.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Tips for Visiting the Lavender Fields in Brihuega, Spain.

1️⃣ Watch for the bees! These little busy insects will be at work while you visit the fields. The later you go, the least you will find. And they won't do anything to you if you don't bother them.
2️⃣ You can take a 1 hour tour for 150€ and get amazing views from hot air balloons.
3️⃣ Entrance to the fields is free, owners just ask you to respect the plants in exchange.
4️⃣ There is a huge and free parking area in front of the lavender fields.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Spain is reporting new outbreaks that are increasing daily mainly in Catalunya and Madrid area. Therefore UK,
Switzerland, Hungary, Belgium, Norway & Finland have imposed a quarantine for anyone arriving from Spain.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Consejos para visitar los campos de lavanda en Brihuega, España.

1️⃣ Estar atento a las abejas! Estos pequeños insectos están trabajando mientras tu visitas los campos. Cuanto más tarde vayas, menos encontrarás. Y no te harán nada si no los molestas.
2️⃣ Puedes realizar un recorrido de 1 hora por 150 € y obtener vistas increíbles desde globos aerostáticos.
3️⃣ La entrada a los campos es gratuita, los propietarios solo te piden que respetes las plantas a cambio.
4️⃣ Hay una enorme zona de aparcamiento gratuito frente a los campos de lavanda.

ACTUALIZACIÓN DE COVID-19: España está notificando nuevos brotes que aumentan a diario principalmente en el área de Catalunya y Madrid. Por lo tanto, Reino Unido
