Cuando creas que lo tuyo es lo más difícl, sal de tu cabeza y entra en la del otro

Tengo un día malo y el mundo es una m****a

Hace unos cuantos años (unos cuantos) gestioné un hostal rural.
Mi socio y yo nos enfocamos en un cliente especial.

Cuando de Benidorm los echaban, porque los turistas “normales” no querían mezclarse con ellos, nosotros les abrimos nuestros brazos.

Aparte de lo bien que lo pasaban ellos en nuestro entorno, sus familias estaban trabquilas.

Tener a un familiar con una enfermedad grave, como una parálisis cerebral, puede resultar agotador.

Esto fue una gran lección para mí.
No era todo de color de rosa. El romanticismo es para las películas.
Para todos era duro.
Agotador.

Pero ver cómo te agradecían cada gesto que tenías cn ellos, valía mucho.
Gestos que no venían en el contrato.
Lo hacía para verlos sonreír. Para ver sus caras de asombro. Y la de agradecimiento de sus cuidadores.

No, no tengo un día malo, ni el mundo me parece una m****a.
Desde ese proyecto (empresarial/personal) mi medida de “día jodido” a cambiado bastante.

En este nuevo podcast, se habla de eso.
Personas que un día reciben una noticia.
Una noticia de una enfermedad que llama a su puerta.

Pero hasta que el vídeo este editado, te dejo con la transformación del gimnasio de la clínica, en un plató de grabación.

Que también me da algunos quebraderos de cabeza.
Pero no haré una montaña de ellos.
No son tan imprtantes como la salud

PD: Si no las visto, las chicas de tienen otro episodio muy bueno. Es la historia de alguien a quien se le pone la vida cuesta arriba, y la sube. De haberse quedado en una silla de ruedas a correr una 15K.

Cuando te piden que les enseñes una foto de tu peque tienes dos opciones.
Le enseñas la que le haces todos los días con el móvil o la que te hizo el fotógrafo n la sesión.
A veces se nota la diferencia
O puede ser que no.
Enseñes la que enseñes, hazle un pequeño álbum de vez en cuando. Es más bonito verlas en papel.
Ya sabes, por lo de conservar los recuerdos cuando eres mayor

Una foto es un recuerdo que nunca será olvidado. Un pensamiento que permanecerá eterno. Un momento que siempre podrás mostrar sin importar el tiempo que pase.

Te la puedes hacer tú con el móvil o puedes contratar a un fotógrafo. Hagas lo que hagas seguirá siendo un recuerdo.

It’s been hard to find the words for this. It’s unbelievable such situation is really happening in today’s world. We're convinced that violence is not the answer to any political conflict and we will always stand against it. Through the years, we’ve developed relationships and friendships with photographers from all over the world, including Ukraine and Russia.

It really breaks our hearts to see them involved in this conflict we believe is absolutely unnecessary and only brought misery to a part of the world that was already punished by war many years ago.

We are a small company trying to help the ones who choose to see the world through film photography. Nevertheless, we can add our grain of sand both indirect help and give visibility and stand with what we believe is the right thing to do.
We've been donating to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)] every first order of the day from all Carmencita Film Lab locations to help Ukrainian people since the war started and for as long as it will be needed.

I’ve been personally involved with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)] since 2018 and I’d put my hand in the fire for them. Through friends, family, and photojournalists that have worked with MSF, I’ve only heard positive things about them both in the offices and on the field.

As the chief of a company, I feel we have a significant responsibility to act accordingly, within our possibilities, and that is why we'd also like to offer at least 1 paid internship position for someone that had to flee away from Ukraine.
