Ceejoy is a company founded in 2016 by multidisciplinary artist Kimmo Matias. Ceejoy specializes in visual art, design, music, film and creative writing.
Kimmo Matias graduated from Domus Academy (Milan, Italy) in 2004 (Master of Arts). He is a visual artist, trained fashion designer and creative entrepreneur who uses his creativity 360 degrees. His multifaceted experience in the creative fields merge and carry the brand forward.
Kimmo Matias has been producing visual art since he could hold a pen. He has never been truly capable of imagining himself doing anything else besides creative work. Even during times he has held jobs on various other fields, he has consistently created a body of work through his passionate approach to creating. This body of work includes acrylic paintings, drawings (pen-and-ink, graphite, charcoal), music (he has a vast back catalogue of albums and singles dating back to 2007), film and music videos, design (menswear and soon jewelry through the new Forma jewelry collection) and creative writing (several poetry books in Finnish, one in English, yet unreleased short stories and novels). Ceejoy, as a brand, is about seeing and creating with joy. Art is salvation. Art is creation. Art is love.
