Pakkanen paukkui ja revontulet leiskuivat alkuvuodesta oikein urakalla. Pikkusen liian kylmiä oli kelit, m***a sinnillä piti kyttäillä kylmässä viimassa, että sai taivaantulia ikuistettua 💚 Näihin ei kyllästy koskaan!

The real winter is finally here 🩵 I love snow and frost because then the landscape is like a fairy tale. This particular landscape is very dear to me. I’ve admired Kukkolankoski rapids since I was a child. Luckily, the fishing season is only a few months away. Well…actually five long months away, but time flies.

Oikea talvi on viimein täällä 🩵 Rakastan lunta ja kuuraa, sillä ne tekevät maisemasta sadunomaisen. Tämä nimenomainen maisema on minulle todella rakas, sillä olen ihaillut Kukkolankosken kuohuja lapsesta asti. Onneksi kalastuskauteen on enää vain muutama kuukausi. Itse asiassa viisi pitkää kuukautta, m***a aika lentää!

Nice encounters, coincidence or not?

It’s good to walk with your eyes and mind open, because so you may meet interesting people. I was shooting at the top of Reinebringen and I thought it would be nice to have a model. Suddenly a woman appeared in front of me, who immediately agreed to be a model. She was full of positive energy and it was so nice to send the pictures to her. The first impression was right, she is happy and inspiring woman. Cool that we met 🤍 🫶🏻🤍

I don’t really believe in coincidences. I believe that in the right situation we are ment to meet someone from whom we get good energy. Do you agree?

Do you travel with an open mind talking to random people or are you more of an introvert?
I have both sides, but when I’m out with my camera, it becomes easier to start a conversation.

Mukavat kohtaamiset, sattumaa vai ei?
On hyvä kulkea silmät ja mieli avoinna, sillä silloin voit tavata mielenkiintoisia ihmisiä. Kuvailin Reinebringenin huipulla ja mietin, että olisipa kivaa jos olisi malli ja samantien eteni ilmestyi nainen, joka suostui heti sellaiseksi. Hän oli täynnä positiivista energiaa ja oli niin mukavaa lähettää kuvat hänelle. Ensivaikutelma oli oikea, hän on iloinen ja inspiroiva ihminen! Kiva, että tavattiin 🤍🫶🏻🤍

En oikeastaan usko sattumiin. Uskon, että oikeana hetkenä meidän on tarkoituskin tavata joku, jolta saamme positiivista energiaa. Oletko samaa mieltä? Reissaatko sie mieli avoimena jutellen satunnaisille ihmisille vai oletko enemmän introvertti? Minusta löytyy molemmat puolet, m***a kameran kanssa kulkiessa tulee aloitettua juttelu paljon helpommin.

Tämäkin upea aamu olisi mennyt nukkuessa ohi.

On an evening walk; just me and the oystercatcher 🫶🏻

He was very curious and came quite close, but when I tried to take a picture, he ran away or turned his back. Sometimes he admired his own reflection 😃 Cute bird!

The bridge on the Finnish-Swedish border is a nice place to photograph, because the skyline is always a different color and the shadow of the bridge is beautifully reflected in the river. And this river… the mind rests along it 🤍 I’m on a vacation and now I have time to hang out there every day. Soooo nice!

Silta Suomen ja Ruotsin välillä on mukava paikka kuvailla. Taivaanranta on aina erivärinen ja silta heijastuu kauniisti jokeen. Ja tämä joki…mieli lepää sen varrella 🤍 Olen kesälomalla, joten nyt on aikaa hengailla joella joka päivä! Niiiiiin mukavaa!
