A Trail Run Love Story…Tracy and Craig first met in the most unlikely place — during a 50-kilometre trail run nearly 900 kilometres away from the town they both lived in. For years they had been in the same community without ever crossing paths, yet it took a gruelling endurance event to bring them together. Somewhere between the climbs and the kilometres, a connection formed that neither of them expected.

What started as a chance meeting turned into something lasting. They kept running, training, and showing up for each other — and each year they returned to that same trail event where their story began, turning it into a shared tradition and reminder of how it all started.

Last year, during the event’s brutal 10.8-kilometre climb to Point Glorious Lookout in Yandina, Queensland, Craig made the moment unforgettable.
