Tara & Tom’s ceremony was a beautiful reflection of a marriage already well underway. Built on years of love, friendship, laughter and shared experiences, their wedding day was an opportunity to pause and celebrate the promises that will carry them into the years ahead.

It was a joy to create a completely bespoke ceremony that reflected their story, their values and the life they are building together. As a Provence wedding celebrant, these are the moments I treasure most, helping couples find the words that honour not only where they are going, but everything that brought them here.

K & C gathered their closest friends and family for three days of celebration at , and it was my deep joy to create and perform the ceremony at the heart of it.

Set in the remarkable gardens at Le Mas des Poiriers, there was a quiet sense of occasion that gave weight to every word spoken. My role was to shape a ceremony that felt entirely their own, thoughtful, personal and true to the life they are building together. In a setting like this, the beauty surrounds you, but it is the words that make the moment.

Every wedding ceremony has a point where something shifts in the room.

You can almost feel it happen.

The couple hear a line and glance at one another because they recognise it. A memory surfaces. A promise lands a little deeper than expected. Suddenly the ceremony is no longer something happening around them. It becomes something that belongs to them.

That moment rarely comes from borrowed words.

It comes from taking the time to listen to a couple properly, to understand the quiet shape of their story, and then writing a ceremony that reflects it with care. That is the part of my work I treasure most as a Provence wedding celebrant and English speaking wedding officiant in the South of France.

Because when the words are right, the ceremony stops feeling like a formality and begins to feel like the true beginning of a marriage.

From the first words written quietly onto the page to the moment they are spoken aloud during the ceremony, crafting a bespoke wedding ceremony is one of the deepest joys of my work as a Provence wedding celebrant.

Long before the ceremony day arrives, I spend time listening to each couple’s story. How they met, what shaped them, the values they share, and the promises they wish to make. Slowly those memories and moments become the foundation of a ceremony that feels deeply personal. No templates, no borrowed scripts, only words that could belong to them and to no one else.

When the day finally arrives and I stand before family and friends as their Provence wedding officiant, the ceremony feels less like something performed and more like something revealed. A love story spoken aloud exactly as it was meant to be told.

Anna sat with her handwritten vows, reading them softly to herself before stepping into her wedding in Provence, and in that quiet moment I was reminded that love is not only in the grand scenes we all see, but in the quiet courage it takes to speak your heart aloud.

So many couples tell me they are overwhelmed by writing personal vows for their wedding in Provence. They want their words to feel romantic and meaningful, but worry they will not say enough, or will say too much. The truth is, the most beautiful vows are never perfect, but they are honest, a little unpolished, and true in the way real love is.

As an experienced, English wedding celebrant in Provence, I walk through this part with you. When I create ceremonies, you never carry that weight on your own. I walk beside you in this quiet space too, helping you gather the small memories, the reasons you chose each other, the things you have felt but never spoken aloud, and we shape them gently into vows that sound like your voice.

You do not need to be a writer to speak your hear, you only need to love someone. Together, we find the words.

✨ “Love stories feel different in Provence, softer and more timeless.”

One of the joys of being a celebrant here is witnessing love unfold in settings as beautiful as this. Beneath the shade of ancient trees, surrounded by flowers and golden light, two people speak the most important words of their lives. Each ceremony reminds me that while the details change, the vows, the setting, the style, the heart of it is always the same: two souls choosing each other, completely and forever.

Congratulations to Katie and Sa on a day that brought together generations, cultures, and continents in the most moving of ways.
�With guests who travelled from New Zealand, the UK, and beyond, they were married in a ceremony that honoured Samoan tradition and classic Western elegance ~ crafted just for them, with every word chosen to reflect their story.
