Chamonix: Day 1, Part 2 🏔️🎂
We hiked back in from Switzerland to France and hiked up toward this beautiful glacier to celebrate my birthday properly, complete with a cinnamon roll bday cake, a gorgeous sunset, and epic glacier (and 360°) views all night long!! Best birthday vibes!! 🥳
We initially set up our tent for the night, but with perfect conditions and our insane view, we decided to bivy beneath the stars instead. And as if the evening couldn’t get any more magical, the Perseids meteor shower, which peaks around my birthday every year, put on a show for us. Maybe even made a few wishes on the shooting stars that all came true over the course of the trip with a little birthday meteor shower magic 💫
Truly the best 30th birthday celebration I could have asked for with the best conditions…and the adventure was only just beginning. Part 3 soon 🫶🏼
