On YouTube, I continue my exploration of Tours, one of the main cities of the famous Loire Valley, renowned for the many castles found throughout the region. In this film, I present an old bridge in the city known as the "Wire Bridge."
When I crossed it, the region was experiencing a period of heavy rainfall, and the river level was exceptionally high, covering islands that are normally visible and flooding the bases of many trees.
On a more philosophical level, I like this film because it captures the contrast between the forces of nature and a fragile man-made structure: an old wire bridge, seemingly vulnerable in the face of such a powerful river.
This idea was not particularly emphasized during filming; it came to me later, after the editing was completed. I mention it here because I know that some viewers enjoy reading between the lines as much as watching the images. 🙂

On my YouTube channel, I continue exploring the city of Tours, considered the "capital" of the Loire Valley, famous for its castles.

In this film, after a few steps through the city, we enter the cathedral, a true kingdom of light and color thanks to the stained glass windows. The interior is one of the most immersive presentations I have created so far: I tried to reproduce as faithfully as possible what I saw, so that the viewer feels as if they are there, following exactly what caught my attention at the time of filming.

The cover image is created with AI. It is not a photo taken by me, but it captures a real phenomenon: the way light, passing through the stained glass windows, settles in vivid tones on the benches, walls, or floor. It is the kind of detail that any photographer should try to capture, but which is difficult to achieve at the same time as filming. I am still working on a solution to combine photography and videography in a single process.

Although I am not a big fan of AI-generated images, the phenomenon is very powerful and has some useful aspects. I am trying to find a way to combine AI and real images in a constructive way. I am already developing ideas that I will explore in the coming period.

The current films are just one stage. A larger system is being built behind them, which will become clearer over time.

If you want to see this evolution, it is worth following the channel.

As spring approaches, I started a small series on YouTube presenting walks and discovering beautiful places in the city of Tours, the center of the French region Centre-Val de Loire. It is an important university center in France, located about 300 km from Paris. It can also be considered the capital of the famous Loire Valley, the one where we find all the great and famous castles. The city is crossed by two important rivers in France, the Cher and of course the Loire. Some of the destinations I present are "personal finds", and others are classic ones, found in all the "serious" guides. In the first episode I present a simple park, the garden near the center, Jardin des Prébendes d'Oé. To be honest, we stopped here to catch our breath and eat our sandwiches in the fresh air, but we were surprised by the beauty and coquetry of this garden, in which we wondered if we were in a real botanical garden. It is a moment and a place that shines perfectly during this period of flowers. The film in the first comment.

On YouTube, after an intermezzo through a few French villages, I return to Paris with an important walk between the Louvre and Notre-Dame Cathedral, moving from one bank of the Seine to the other. At one point in the film, I discovered a very chic little square, hidden between buildings, where you can take a moment to relax on a typical terrace, enjoying a café latte or a local meal.
It’s perfect if you want to get into the mood and start planning a visit to the classic City of Love.
From a technical point of view, I believe this film has one of the most successful introductions so far, including its musical background. The walk itself, as usual, features the natural ambient sounds of the street.

This week's video is a continuation of the previous one, in which we explored the village of La Roche-Guyon.
This time, we ventured into the forest above the village, where we discovered the castle tower seen from below and enjoyed a stunning view of the Seine, far from the hustle and bustle of Paris.
As the weather starts to allow it, now is the perfect time to get out into nature, and this video comes just in time to give you a little push in that direction.

Those of you who watch my YouTube channel may know that one of the themes I explore is discovering small towns in France on foot.
The latest village featured is La Roche-Guyon, a town located in Île-de-France, on the banks of the Seine and easily accessible from Paris. In addition to the rural atmosphere typical of villages near the capital, there is a castle, a traditional medieval orchard, a church, an old fountain, and some interesting buildings that give the place a special charm.
In this film, during a short spring walk, I focused mainly on the atmosphere of the place, rather than on visiting the monuments in detail.
The film is part of a two-episode series. The next one will feature a hike in the forest surrounding the village, which offers unique views of the Seine, quite different from the way most people know it in Paris.
I will post the link to the film in the comments, as well as the link to the entire collection of films presenting small, sometimes “secret,” places in France.

🌷 Tulips in Full Bloom – A Magical Dutch Spring Journey

The featured film of these days on my YouTube channel is about the beautiful and famous Dutch tulips. It was filmed mainly in the gardens of Keukenhof and in several tulip fields around Amsterdam.
I recorded these images about 4–5 years ago, at a time when both the film and the YouTube channel were still just a dream. I edited it during the early days of the channel. Technically it is not perfect, but I still think it contains some interesting ideas.
One of my favorite moments is the melody played by the garden organ, a small detail that adds a special poetic touch to the atmosphere of the place.
My YouTube channel is a journey through which I am discovering something I have wanted to do for a very long time. So it should be taken exactly as it is: a process of discovery and continuous improvement.
I am still far from the results I would like to achieve, but there are already some visible progresses in filming and editing compared to my first films. The artistic and poetic spirit, however, remains the same, only the means of expression continue to evolve.

Chinese New Year was on February 17, but its energy continues to animate the streets of major cities for several weeks. 2026 is the Year of the Horse, a symbol of energy, movement, and strength.
In Paris, parades continue until March 3, and the 13th arrondissement, where Chinatown is located, becomes, on March 1, the stage for a spectacle of color and rhythm.
Last year, I filmed the Chinese lion dance here. I arrived late and had to quickly adapt to an already formed crowd. The conditions were far from ideal, yet it is precisely this unpredictability that I enjoy: reality in its purest form, the energy that comes alive in front of the camera, without rehearsals.
A dance that bursts with color, sound, and movement, a few minutes in which the street becomes a stage and tradition comes to life.
What do you think of the Chinese lion dance?
