On April 8, 2026, Kengo Kuma visited for the exhibition “L’Écologie des relations” and attended a reception at the Residence of the Consul General of Japan in Marseille (在マルセイユ日本国総領事公邸).

An evening reception was organized by the Consulate General of Japan in partnership with FRAC SUD – Cité de l’art contemporain, following his lecture at ENSA-Marseille on “Back to Nature” and his architectural concept for the FRAC SUD building.
