We are very sad to hear of the passing of our friend Larry Hickmott of VeloUK. Larry was a friend, mentor, and above all a wonderful person. He supported PelotonPhotos from the very beginning of our photographers’ journey.

Larry meant a great deal to the British cycling scene. A friendly face at so many races, big or small, he was always there. Covering everything on the ground, while also updating VeloUK with results and articles a the same time.

We wish Lynne, Larry’s family in Australia, and all his friends strength during this difficult time. He will be missed.

Zdeněk Štybar, the Czech cyclist, during his last CX Worlds this weekend at Tabor. He is famous for his win in the Cyclo-cross World Championships in 2010. Zdeněk Štybar’s most important win is often considered his victory in the UCI Road World Championships in 2019. This win solidified his status as one of the top riders in road cycling.
