All set up at The Barn for Deeside Dance Centre Senior Showcase 2026.

A huge amount of work goes into a performance like this before the curtain even opens, and we’re proud to be here capturing it for the families, dancers and team to look back on.

Some performances are over in a moment — but they deserve to be remembered for years.

Final preparations are underway for ELEMENTS – Senior Showcase 2026, as Deeside Dance Centre get ready to take to the stage at The Barn.

Yesterday, the team were there capturing dress rehearsal footage ahead of show day, and the atmosphere is already building.

For the dancers, this is more than one night on stage.
It is the result of years of work, commitment, friendships and memories.

The official ELEMENTS film is available to order now, giving families a lasting way to relive the full performance after the curtain closes.

Captured in stunning 4K resolution with professional multi-camera coverage, high-quality audio and cinematic editing, the final film will give families a polished keepsake of the full show.

Final preparations for ELEMENTS.

Today’s dress rehearsal with Deeside Dance Centre at The Barn gave us the chance to check camera positions, audio and coverage ahead of Saturday’s Senior Show 2026.

That is live event production.

And that is why experience still matters more than any tool in the kit.

AI has earned its place in my workflow: captioning, audio cleanup, clip search, versioning — the unglamorous repetitive work that used to eat hours.

It handles that well.

It frees me up to focus on the things it genuinely cannot do.

It cannot read a room and reframe before an important moment happens.

It cannot adapt when the venue layout is nothing like the brief.

It cannot make a call under pressure when something goes wrong minutes before the big finish.

That is still a person’s job.

At Pigeon Media Solutions, I am not interested in AI that makes production feel cheaper.

I am interested in tools that make the client experience smoother, faster, and more reliable — while keeping a human making the calls where it matters.

We’re proud to be producing the official film for North Aberdeenshire Dance Academy's Silver Edition Showcase – 25th Anniversary Celebration.

This year’s showcase marks a very special milestone for NADA, celebrating 25 years of pupils, performances, friendships, commitment and memories brought together on stage.

Having worked with NADA for over 20 years, this is a particularly meaningful showcase for us to capture.

Our role is to document the full show with the care it deserves — using professional multi-camera coverage, high-quality audio and cinematic editing.

Once released, the final film will be available through secure online streaming, allowing families to watch across phones, tablets, computers and compatible TV apps.
