Regional Cup Final drama at the R Davidson Pitch.

Banchory Bucks took a 2-goal lead into half-time, but Aberdeen East End FC U14 showed real character to battle back and level it at 2-2 in a hard-fought contest over two halves. East End looked the better footballing side overall and, with a contensous goal ruled offside in the second half that would have won it before penalties, they kept pushing right to the end.

The final was decided from the spot, where East End held their nerve to win the shootout 4-2 and lift the cup after a brilliant comeback. A proper final full of tension, quality, and determination from both sides.

This week I was pitchside for Middlefield Wasps SC v Bridge of Don Thistle Blue in the U14 League D Cup Final, capturing all the tackles, celebrations and raw emotion.
