When art brings people together from across the world. 🫶🎨
Last night was incredibly special, as Adam and I finally got to meet the lovely Davine & Win, who extended their trip in Scotland from their home in California, especially to come and spend some time with us. 🇺🇸🏴
Over a year ago, Win came across my pastel ‘New Dawn’ 🐸 on social media and fell in love with it. Davine soon began following my work too, and from there a lovely friendship grew.
We’ve kept in touch regularly ever since, bonding over our mutual love of animals, with Win often sharing wonderful memories of growing up on her family farm, when one of my pieces brought those memories flooding back
Before long, ‘New Dawn’ and ‘Cock of the North’ 🐓 were making their way across the Atlantic to their home. Something that still feels pretty amazing to me.
And last night there was another little art surprise ahead of their 30th wedding anniversary, Davine surprised Win with a limited-edition print of ‘Blaze’ 🐎.
To finally meet them both in person, after more than a year of messages from thousands of miles apart, was just wonderful. We chatted for hours, laughed lots, and even got to celebrate their incredible 30 years together. 🥂❤️
Thank you both for such a lovely evening, and especially for making the time and extending your travels to come and see us. It genuinely meant so much.
One little frog pastel brought us together from opposite sides of the Atlantic - forever grateful 🫶🤗🤗
