My regal pheasant captured in pastel.

With every iridescent feather catching the light, they bring a splash of colour to even the quietest countryside morning. I wanted this piece to capture not just the beauty of the bird, but its quiet confidence and elegance.

Nature has a way of creating masterpieces all on its own. I simply had the privilege of trying to capture one in pastel.

'All Mine' 🐟
Beak full of fish and not a thought of sharing.
Perched proudly on the rocks, this little puffin has completed another successful fishing trip and is heading home with a prize worth protecting.

I loved capturing the character in this moment, that determined look that seems to say, "These took a lot of effort to catch... and they're all mine!"
