When you step into my studio it’s my highest priority to give you the most wonderful experience! Many people avoid photographs but it’s not your job to know how to pose in front of the camera, it’s my job to direct you, relax you and to take the best photos you’ve ever seen of yourself. A little reminder to document everything.

Because to be her, I first had to be her.

The girl sat in coffee shops dreaming about having my own business to fully booked brand shoots working with incredible female founders.

The photographer working every Christmas Day sport photography, eating mince pies in the rain to finishing a week early to decorate the tree with my family.

To become a freelance working mum with the freedom to build a business around my family, travel when I choose and do what I love every day, I first had to be that girl willing to keep showing up.

Every version of you is leading somewhere.

Sometimes I feel like there’s so much pressure (especially online) to constantly grow, hit bigger numbers and have constant celebratory moments…

But it’s just not sustainable and it’s not actually the real goal here. Having real connection with my clients will ALWAYS matter more to me.

The conversations in my DMs, the returning clients, the recommendations and the women who’ve followed quietly for years before finally reaching out… that’s what’s built my business and I’ll never take it for granted.

And if you’re a business owner feeling like you need thousands of followers before you can show up confidently online, you really don’t.

One thing I’ll NEVER believe in is competing with other women in business!!

There is space for all of us to grow, succeed, pivot, evolve and be fully booked doing what we LOVE.

Supporting another woman’s business doesn’t take anything away from yours…

if anything, it reminds us what’s possible.

Cheer her on.
Recommend her.
Share her work.
Celebrate her wins.

Because collaboration will always be better than comparison.
