The Lakes 2026

There’s something so completely healing and magical about a rainy day in the Lake District. Clouds over the peaks, muffled sheep baa-ing, and raindrops on spider webs in stone walls, that appear grey at first, until you see the richness of the colour in every crevice.
✨🍂✨
The peace of the moment makes me feel truly beautiful, just to be a small part of our natural country, even if only for a moment. What an absolute JOY to be able to capture even an iota of that peace and stillness as the clouds roll in.

That’s what self portraits are for me - yes, a moment to photograph, but also a moment to remember, to catch a second of that feeling, to have it forever, and to try and show others through art even some of what I got to experience.

My favourite self portraits have always been in drizzly weather, where I know my skin glows, and my hair frizzes into glorious curls and (often) you get to be completely alone as everyone else shelters inside!

Sometimes there’s a heatwave, and sometimes one shadow reminds you of the most BEAUTIFUL historical painting! Bonus points if you know which one I mean…

A moment for the DRESS!
Fun Facts:
💚 This is the first dress I built to go over a corset base (not built in!) - that was SUPER important to me as the sleeves are SOOO big, it’s difficult to have shape in photos (without flapping like a bird) if you don’t have a smooth waist!
💚 The sleeves are HUGE there’s an unbelievable amount of fabric in them. It was difficult to put them together with the top half without being super bulky! However they look BEAUTIFUL and I’m so glad I committed.
💚 Finding the right colour for the fabric was interesting as I was aiming more for the colour toning of the show than a brighter green but I found this beautiful bottle green velvet in Goldhawk Road!
💚 There was meant to be more gold trim (to be accurate), but it actually cheapened the look so I chose not to add it!
💚 I feel BEAUTIFUL in this dress - yes the corset helps but my GOD the way this velvet flows as I walk feels so MAGICAL and Fantasy! I may have to make more….

Introducing my Megara from Hercules! I’ve always LOVED Hercules, and Meg but never really gelled with her original outfit (in terms of cosplay).
So Fantasy Forest gave me the perfect excuse to do my own spin on it and I’m SO HAPPY THAT I DID!

Visit Grogu’s Cafe with me!

What a fun experience to get to try some lovely matcha themed drinks and food, do some interviews, games and more! My favourite part was ABSOLUTELY the decor - the cute mint green Star Wars theme PLUS the new posters were deffo my style (and I’m eyeing them up for a photo wall 😂)
Big thank you to (my IRL Grogu) for coming along with me and being the best cafe date 💚
And a huge thank you to for hosting this lovely event and inviting us along to celebrate!
The Madalorian and Grogu is out May 22nd - I can’t wait!

CLASSICAL ART

With the Odyssey trailer and Met Gala this weekend it’s been an amazing reminder that fashion and Hellenistic art, statues epics and poetry has ALWAYS been a source of inspiration for artists.
✨🧡✨
These are my FAVOURITE photos - something I don’t say lightly. There’s something magical about the way fabric is shown, as well as a woman’s body in almost all classical art, portraits and poems. Women are strong, muscled, capable and yet still draped in the most delicate fabrics. And that was all captured in giant blocks of marble?
✨🧡✨
I would have loved to have seen some more statue inspired looks at the Met, or more intricate fabric work but I still felt so inspired by some (Emma Chamberlain for one!) - I think if I’d gone I would have worn something like this.

I LOVE the colours in this dress, and that the red fabric was leftover from my mums bridesmaids dresses so it’s sentimental too!

Looking back and found this photo from lockdown - it started this beautiful misty rain and on the petals it looked stunning!

I just love how fairylike this photo feels and how beautiful the memory of that moment is ✨🧡 and the feeling of creative freedom to run out into the rain with just a camera and a dream!
