Wedding Day Tip numero 2!
This is a great one.
I’m going to keep it simple, but it’s all about the small things! Little trinkets, rings, sentimental items! So set them aside for the photographer so we can gather them all in one or two photos. This way you’ll remember wearing your aunts necklace down the aisle, or the weird but funky pattern on your veil, or the smell you was wearing.
Also, if you want any small details such as flowers, socks or anything in that matter that means something, let the photographer know!

Bride/ succession tip numero 1..

I know it’s exciting walking down the aisle, but don’t rush it!
Why you ask? (You probably didn’t ask why but I’m going to tell you why anyway).
Because this moment, is one of the biggest moments of your life. Moments you have dreamt of your whole life. So why rush it? Take it all in. Stop, have a cry half way down. Take a look at all your loved one’s faces. Register their emotions. Register your own emotions. If you’re the bridal party, do the same! Slowwww it down.
Because at the end of the day, what you’re doing, it is not a race. You don’t need to make a B line to the front. And If you’re keeping people waiting.. well.. you’ll get there when you get there.

So top tip! Slow it down, take it all in, and become one with the succession.

And grooms.. don’t take a sneak peak when the bride is walking down. Just stand still, lift your chin, and wait out. Let her have her moment.

Honestly, what can I say with D&E.
You guys were absolutely brilliant. From the moment I arrived at the bride prep at 10am all the way to 21:30 at night, you guys and all of your family were very welcoming and very fun in front of the lens.
Sometimes a pre wedding shoot is what’s needed to break the ice.. but not with these two! 😂
All of our personalities just jelled and the photography followed reflected that! ‘Simon says stick your finger in Dans nose!’

But honestly, this is exactly why a photographer and couple need to match personality wise, as it takes the awkwardness away instantly as you both fit into each others ‘crazies’, and the photographer becomes part of their little circle, merging with their friends and family and becoming one of them.
Again, I’ll always reiterate that you’ll see me as a friend with a camera rather than the ‘photographer’.

Here’s to many years of love and laughter for you two 🍻

Anyway, enough the soppy stuff.
If you want a photographer who will slate your favourite football club in front of your whole family, tell you to stick your fingers up each others noses, or just tell your nan to move out the bloody way, then drop me a message!

Well yesterday was quite something! What a day, venue AND couple! 💍

If you’re not posing like you’re Dwayne Johnson then you’re doing it wrong. But here we are! So maybe you have seen my pictures, maybe you haven’t, but why should you book me?

Well, photography found me back in 2010 when I was wandering around with an iPhone taking photos of absolutely everything. Throw in a little ADHD and somewhere along the way that turned into ‘I should get a proper camera’ and ‘I should turn this into a profession’, so.. I did.
Fast forward a few years and I’ve photographed weddings, families, brands, creators and businesses across the country. I’ve met some incredible people, seen happy tears, questionable dance moves and enough dodgy speeches to last a lifetime.

But here’s the thing, this isn’t just a ‘job’ for me. I don’t really want you to think of me as ‘the photographer’, but much rather your mate with a camera. The one who’ll make your nan laugh, calm your nerves before you walk down the aisle, tell your groomsmen to stop standing like they’re having a school photo, make friends with your dog (if there is one… and if there isn’t, I am mildly disappointed), and capture the moments that actually matter, because the best moments aren’t forced. They’re felt. And It’s one of the only days where every person you love is in the same place, at the same time. That’ll never happen in quite the same way again.

So, show me the ring. Tell me your plans. And most importantly… Is there a dog coming? 🤣
